The family room had a great layout for us. Kids had their own little space with two single beds and a second TV, which offered us a bit of peace. The room was very clean and comfortable, better than many chain hotels. Enjoyed the convenience of the adjoining pub with decent food at reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and accommodating, especially when we asked for a chilled bottle of wine. the shower pressure was weak and the bathroom could use some updating. I was disappointed that the bath plug didn’t work, and we were disturbed during our stay despite putting up the do not disturb sign. The noise from bin emptying at night was quite disruptive to our sleep. A little more care around noise management would go a long way. Despite these issues, the overall value for a budget stay was pleasant.
